Been super tough out there lately with wind the order of the day. Snuck out early before the N East got unplayable and released a feisty Blue for Tim early doors and then dropped a small black on the ledge on the way in mid day. The current was raging today and the blue water has pushed in well. Things are starting to look up, although the fish are still deeper. Small problem of the pestilence visiting us again tomorrow in form of a 30 knot southerly....just cant leave well alone at the moment. Will try for Thursday weather permitting..? ...

The Billfish 15000 had some great fish this week with good numbers on most of the days. 28 released on Thursday and 26 on Friday. We had our first trip Friday and released a Stripe off a double and dropped a nice Blue which pulled the hooks after taking a 700m run. Also had another fish up late afternoon that didnt hook up. Water improving all the time and the current is screaming. All good things for the new season. Have some organising to do but will be full speed in next week weather permitting. Nice to hear the reels screaming again. Its time to fish so join us for a memorable day on the water!...
